College

I kind of want to leave St Ben's and I kind of don't.  I am going to Onslow College next year, where I don't have to wear a uniform, I super happy about this.  I am feeling nervous about going to college because I might not make friends.  Luckily I have a few friends from my class that are going to the same college.

The things I would like to achieve is getting into the basketball team and their rugby team, because I really love playing both sports.  Some things I am looking forward to are making new friends.  Some things that I could find challenging are getting good grades.  Below is the logo for Onslow college, this logo is used on their sports uniform that I will hopefully be wearing if I get into the rugby or basketball team.

Speech

For my speech I did Why I don't like speeches. When I got up in front of the class I was so nervous my legs were shaking and I didn't even want to do it do I made up excuses like "oh sorry forgot my speech will have to do it tomorrow" and "I can't do it because I have a dry throat". It didn't really go as well as I would as hoped, I didn't look up enough at my classmates. This year the speeches have been much better I enjoyed listening to all of them because they were all good topics and good speeches about the topic. Yeah last speech of the year at St Benedict's school, but unfortunately I have to do another speech at College. YES JOB DONE NOW!!!!

Cherub

The picture above shows the CHERUB logo.CHERUB recruited an orphan, called James. Torchered him for 100 days in Basic Training. Then he went of to a mission capturing drug dealers, they call them selves KMG i am not sure what it stands for but they sell cocaine to other people who want it.

Speech

I am feeling really nervous about my speech.  My speech is titled "I don't like doing speeches".  I am not very excited but it is just one of those things you have to do.  One of the aspects that I want to improve on is looking up at the audience, and not reading off the paper, only use it for remembering something on my speech. Every year we have to do speeches, the reason I hate doing then is because it is soooo boring having to write one.  I would much rather be playing with my friends.

Space

I really liked this space topic because I wanted to learn about space. The thing I like about space is  the different types of planets and the fact that there could be other life forms, like us, out in the other solar systems/planets/galaxies. Titan is one of Saturn's moons, I found that out because of the space topic we have been learning about. I learned that you could actually live on Titan, but it would be very cold and I like warm climates. One day I would like to go the moon, I don't think that will happen because I will be too busy playing sports like rugby and tennis. Below is a picture of Titan orbiting Saturn.

So over all I really enjoyed the space topic and it was really fun learning more about space, sun, moon and the earth.

holidays

In the holidays I watched a movie called teenage mutant ninja turtles and i ate some popcorn and an ice cream.I also went away to Auckland to see my aunty and stayed up there for a week then came back home and my mum took of Monday to Wednesday and dad took of work Thursday to Friday.    

Production!!!

Last week we had the production and it was really good and we cut the duration time to 1 hour and half and i think it was because of the props were much Quicker this time round then last and i was in props so thanks to me as well. My favourite scene was room 9 and there dance because it was the most hardest as well. I was in tanited love and out of the year 7 and 8 it was the best dance that was cause i was in the dance. Next time i think we should have more microphones otherwise it would have been a little less longer than it was if we had more microphones. There was also the chair dance which was the hardest of them all beacause of the the chairs on the wooden floor cause you would slide
